Where Young
Artists Grow
Weekly art classes for children 2-13.
Classes begin November 2.
Our Studio Philosophy
Petite Canvas is a children’s art studio in San Juan Capistrano at River Street Marketplace, serving families across South Orange County.
We offer art classes for children ages 2–13, where young artists explore drawing, painting, and mixed media while building creativity and confidence.
Our studio is designed to give children the space to slow down, develop real artistic techniques, and grow their skills over time, rather than rushing to finish a project in a single visit.
With our studio model, students receive guidance and encouragement as they grow from their first brush strokes into confident artists.
Every Artist Starts Here.
Choose the class that best fits your child’s age and stage. Our overlapping age ranges give families flexibility to select the class experience that feels most appropriate.

The Heart Behind the Studio
As a mother of four, I’ve watched how naturally children are drawn to creating; how a blank page becomes an idea, a story, or something they’re proud to share.
I wanted Petite Canvas to be a place where children could be met exactly where they are. Some jump right in. Others take their time. Here, they have room to explore, experiment, build real skills, and grow in confidence without feeling rushed.
The same classes and creative experiences we offer your children are the ones my own kids will be growing up with too. I can’t wait to welcome your family into the studio.
